Services for Mr. Goolsby will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 30, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Bowen officiating. Interment will be in Leeville Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-8 p.m.
Mr. Goolsby, 72, of the Leeville Community, Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at University Medical Center. He was farmer and worked for the Wilson Farmer Co-Op for 28 years. He was a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Wanda Smith; son, Otis Wayne Goolsby; grandson, Mark Wooden; parents, Chambler Herman and Cliola Beulah Brown Goolsby; brothers, Morrison and Eugene Goolsby and sisters, Ina Lackey and Lillian Goolsby;
Survivors include: children, Kenny (Robert Breon) Goolsby, Tony (Beth) Goolsby, Carl (B.J.) Goolsby, Scotty (Donna) Goolsby and Timmy (Jennifer) Goolsby; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
