Son of Yuda/Julius and Hilda/Hoda Agron.

His Yiddish name was Hillel.

He married Sophie Sonya Chernikoff, b. 15 Apr 1881, Ukraine/Russia, daughter of Jacob Chernikoff.

They came to America in 1906, settling first in St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., MO and then moving in 1909 to Kansas City, MO. Hillel Americanized his name from Hillel Agronsky to Harry Agron. This would cause some confusion in public records as his brother Hershel also changed his name to Harry Agron.

Harry and Sofie's family was listed on the 1910 census in Kansas City. Harry was working as a kosher butcher:
