World War II U.S. Navy Veteran and Inventor. He served in the U.S. Navy Seabees as a Electrician's Mate First Class during World War II. He saw action in both the Asian and European theaters of the war. He was awarded the Silver Star Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, Navy Combat Ribbon, Navy Unit Citation Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Asian-Pacific Medal, European Medal, World War II Victory Medal and the World War II Veteran Pin. After the war, he was a General Electrical Contractor, in Carlsbad, California and his invention the Tri-Tap Tool was issued patent number 434772 from the U.S. Patent Office, on June 7, 1954. The Tri-Tap Tool, which is a multi center tap drill-threading device, is used in manufacturing, construction and general domestic use to this day.
