Bertha Wilson 79 died Thursday June 15 2000.
Bertha was born April 24 1921 in Great Falls Mont. Known to family and friends as "Tado" she followed her husband's naval career. She lived in Oxnard from 1950 to 1978 later moving to Foresthill where she lived from 1978 to 1995. She moved to Reseda in 1995.
Bertha was a founding organizer of Camp Fire Ventura County; member of the Naval Fleet Reserve Women's Auxiliary Chapter 296 and Senior Gleaners in Sacramento.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond.
Bertha is survived by her son Jack of Oxnard; daughter Tina of Reseda; sister Rose Davis R.S.M. of San Diego; and brother Lawrence of Sikeston Mo.
A memorial Mass will be held a 9 a.m. Wednesday June 21 at St. Catherine's of Sienna in Reseda. A reception will follow at the family's home. Private inurnment will be at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery San Diego.
