KANNAPOLIS -The funeral will be Monday for Dorothy Wallace Aycoth, 65, 518 Locust St., who died Friday (Feb. 2, 2001) at her residence after 10 years of declining health.

Born Jan. 1, 1936, in Hartsville, S.C., Mrs. Aycoth was a daughter of the late James Clarence and Elma Edwards Wallace. She had retired in 1990 from Fieldcrest-Cannon, Plant 1, No. 7 spinning room. She was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church.

Mrs. Aycoth was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Ann Winburn.

Survivors include husband Marvin Aycoth; daughter Brenda Colver, Kannapolis; brothers C.W. and Jimmy Wallace, both of Kannapolis, and Andy Wallace, Hartsville, S.C.; sisters Inez Dixon, Cheraw, S.C., and Michelle Wallace, Hartsville, S.C.; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services:2 p.m. Monday, Faith Free Will Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. James Pauley. Burial, Carolina Memorial Park.

Visitation: 7-9 tonight, Whitley's Funeral Home. At other times the family will be the residence.
