Amos was the son of William D. Rosebrook and Lydia Jane Dodge.

About 1820 he married Honour Camp of Vermont. Her parents names can't be found.

Their children were Emily Cordelia, Elbridge Gerry, Arabell, Albert Camp, and Almira.

Honour died in Sept 1853.

Before the 1860 census he had married Katherine (Howe) Marden, daughter of Samuel Howe and Lois Rosebrook.

She had married Aaron Frost Marden in Jan 1837 and had four daughters. In 1850 she was living back in her parents house, listed as a Howe, with two daughters living with her and two were living with other people. This suggests Katherine and Aaron may have divorced or he died. There is no explanation for the children living elsewhere.

They had no children. His two sons from his first marriage were living with them in 1860. Katherine died six years later.

Amos was preceded in death by both his wives; his parents; daughter Arabell in 1843 and daughter Almira in 1849.
