Lou was my neighbor growing up for as long as I can remember. I remember Lou very fondly. She was always so friendly and welcoming. I can't tell you the number of times I would knock on her door, selling something for school, or Girl Scouts and she always bought something, even though her grand-daughter would be around selling the same thing. My siblings and I also used to play hide-and-seek around the neighborhood and one time I fell in the rocks between her house and the other neighbor. I skinned my knee pretty bad. Lou, brought me in, fixed up my knee and quieted my tears. She was such a sweet person and she will be greatly missed ~ Shannon Skiles Waggoner
