Oct 15, 1833 birth date is from transcription. William 'Henry' Corfield's death certificate gives birth date of Feb. 2, 1834.

As all, long time, researchers know. Grave markers contain errors and death certificates are only as accurate as the knowledge of the informant.

I will add the comment that on the 1900 census Mr. Corfield himself reported his birth month as October. Therefore shedding doubt on the accuracy of his death certificate.
