Enos King, the progenitor of a large family bearing his name came to Ohio from the foot of Laurel Hill near Jone's Mill, Donegal Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania overland in a covered wagon to be near a cousin in Ohio. They lived in a log cabin, which they built, near Mt. Hope. They brought with them 3 children: William McClain, Sarah Ann, and Mary.
Children born in Salt Creek Township, Ohio: Martha, Margaret Caroline King, Elizabeth, Nancy Jane, Catharine Ann, Thomas McClain, and Joseph Kenedy."...
