Maggie McCoy Broughton "M Dea" Age 76 of Wilmington, DE passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2003 in Lakeland, FL.
Maggie was employed by the Wilmington public schools and the Christiana School District until her retirement.
Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, Walter McCoy, Sr.; son, James McCoy; and great-grandson, Tamulah Mc-Coy. Maggie leaves to cherish her memory James Broughton of Lakeland, FL; her children, Pamelar Anderson (John), Audrey Harris (Kevin), Reddy, Walter, Jr., Wilma (Bill) and Wendalyn McCoy, all of Wilmington; 3 sisters; 1 brother; 19 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and special friends.
There will be a funeral service at 10:30 am on Friday, June 13 at the Alpha Baptist Church, 205 Thames St., Belvedere, Wilmington, DE, where family and friends may call from 8-10:30. Interment will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, DE.
