Harry R Brown, 43, of 116 W Wood Ave, died 3:30 pm Monday Sept 22, 1966 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, following an apparent heart attack.
Born Sept 3, 1943, in West Lafayette, he was a son of the late David and Doris (Caton) Brown.
A 1961 graduate of West Lafayette High School, he was production manager of Abolite Lighting, a division of Jones Metal Products Inc of West Lafayette.
He was a member of the West Lafayette United Methodist Church; Masonic Lodge 602, West Lafayette; a 32nd degree Mason of the Valley of Cambridge; a member of Aladdin Temple of Columbus; Coshocton Shrine Club; president of the local Tri-County Scottish Rites Club; New Philadelphia Elks Club; and a member of Coshocton County Traffic Association.
On Aug 24, 1963, he was married to the former Mary Ann Pinkstaff, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Tedd and Tracy Brown, and a daughter, Kathy Brown, all of the home; and three brothers, Dr David E Brown of Kettering, Thomas Brown of Gahanna and Richard Brown of Coshocton.
Funeral service is 2 pm Friday at the West Lafayette United Methodist Church with the Rev William E Norman officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6-9 pm Thursday in the fellowship hall of the church where a Masonic service will be held at 8:45 pm and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
Memorials may be made to the West Lafayette United Methodist Church
