Edna Mae Brown, 81, of 22080 County Road 124 died at 8:35 am Friday, May 16, 2003, at Autumn Health Care Center.

She was born Oct 24, 1921, in Coshocton County to the late Russell and Bessie (Nelson) Johnson.

Mrs Brown retired as secretary of the West Lafayette United Methodist Church in 1987 after 30 years of service.

On Nov 7, 1946, she maried William S Brown, who survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Robert (Judy) Brown of Kent and Donald (Jane) Brown of Coshocton; three grandchildren, Matthew Brown. Alicia Brown and Kristen Holskey; one great grandchild, Jummy Holskey; two stepgrandsons R.C (Barb) Lawrence and Ryan Border; one stepgranddaughter, Jennifer (Jack) Bheam; and one niece, Jeannie Badgley.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Audrey.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Monday, May 19, 2003, at Given-Dawson, West Lafayette Funeral Home, with the Rev James Woodring officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery in West Lafayette.

Calling hours are from 2-4 pm Sunday, May 18, at Given-Dawson, West Lafayette Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the West Lafayette United Methodist Church.
