Mrs. Mary E. Simmers

Mrs. Mary E. Simmers, wife of George Simmers, died at 4 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wash Atkinson in her 86th year. She was born Nov. 6th, 1818. On June 15th, 1837, she was married to George Simmers, who died March 31st, 1887. She is survived by the following children: Mary J. Sarver, Sarversville; Jonathan W., Hannah J. Fleming, George W., Margaret E. Kerr and Clara A. Atkinson, of Tarentum; Grizzella W. Hill, New Kensington; James L., of Sarversville, and Ada E. Wickline, of Pittsburg.

Mrs. Simmers took sick on Tuesday morning and died this morning. Funeral services will be held at the home of G.W. Atkinson, on East Ninth avenue, at 1 o'clock, Monday, June 25th. Interment in Prospect cemetery.
