Mrs. Edith M Zink, 75, Gladbrook, died Saturday morning at the Marshalltown Area Community Hospital, where she had been a patient since Feb. 25.

Born Edith M. Richards, Aug. 20, 1898, in Marshall County, she was the daughter of Charley and Ida May Wilson Richards. She received her education in the rural schools of Tama County, was graduated from the Toledo High School and attended Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls. After completing her education, she taught in Green Mountain, Montour and the rural schools of Tama County.

On Jan. 30, 1926, she was married to Lloyd S. Zink and they resided northeast of Green Mountain for 46 years.

Preceding her in death was her husband in April of this year, two brothers and a son and a daughter in infancy.

Mrs. Zink was a member of the Chapel United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Missionary Society and the Chapel Hill LCA.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Sharon) Mann of Albion and Mrs. John (Marlene) Langbehn of rural Marshalltown. Also surviving are seven grandchildren.

Services will be from the Estel-Perin Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Cloyd Bishop, pastor of the Chapel United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Cemetery northeast of Green Mountain.
