Fern Elliott (nee Handler) passed away June 10, 2011 at the age of 93. She was born October 23, 1917 in Elgin, IL. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Elliott. Cherished mother of Julie Elliott, the late Sharon (Paul) Gelman, Trudy (David) Mylrea, and William (Karen) Elliott. Loving grandmother of David (Aurora), Claudia, Laura, Lisa (Marshall), Amanda (Peter), Michael, Samuel, Jonathan and Addison; and great-grandmother to Hannah, Jonah, Rachel, Madeline, Jack, Alex and Henry. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM on Sunday, June 12th, at Spring Hill Cemetery, 166 South Hawley Court, Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Chai Point. A heartfelt thank you to her best friend and companion, Virginia, and very wonderful caregivers, Dorothy, LaVearn, Annidell and Bobbi for all their kindness and support.
