She married Roy C. Anderson on May 21, 1919, in the Manti LDS Temple.
She was a graduate of Snow College and attended the University of Utah and Utah State University.
She had taught school in Wales, Snowville and Thatcher. She was a member of the Thatcher-Penrose LDS Ward and had served as drama director, Relief Society president, Primary president and had served in the Bear River Stake Primary, Sunday School and MIA. She and her husband filled an LDS Mission to the Northwestern States from 1954-1955.
She was a member of the Midland Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
She was chosen Tremonton's Civic League Mother of the Year in 1969.
Surviving are her husband of Thatcher, three sons and two daughters, Col. Kenneth A. Andersen, Ogden; William R. Anderson, Thatcher; Dr. Alma D. Anderson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Stan (Bernice) Andersen, Tremonton; Mrs. Wayne H. (LuDene) Young, Willard; 27 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. John (Gladys) Price, Mrs. Iona Olson and Rees Davis, all of Ogden; Mrs. Cy (LaVon) Wright, Clinton and Elmo Davis of Wales.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Thatcher-Penrose LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Calvin C. Hunsaker officiating.
Friends may call Wednesday at the ward chapel one hour prior to services.
