James Alexander, one of the county's oldest settler's and for 40 years a resident of Rural, died yesterday at Milan, after two weeks' illness. He was about seventy years of age. The deceased was a native of Scotland and leaves no relatives in this country. The funeral will take place from Beulah church, Milan, tomorrow morning at 10:30.
