Frank L. Mills, 84, Peru, passed away at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Dukes Memorial Hospital, Peru. He was born in Peru on Oct. 5, 1926, the son of Bert L. and Mary F. (Welsh) Mills. He married Janette A. Wilson on Oct. 3, 1952 and she survives.
Frank graduated from Peru High School in 1947, He attended Saint Charles Catholic Church and was a retired salesman of Insurance and Industrial Products. He was a Life member of Peru Maennerchor, a member of the Peru Masonic Lodge and past president of the Men's Golf Association.
He is survived by his wife, daughter Lorna Mills and her companion, Pat Buffington, Peru, son Michael Mills, Peru, four grandchildren, Joshua (wife Nicole) Mills, Elizabeth, Ind., Frank Mills, Franklin, Tenn., Samuel Mills, Franklin, Tenn., Grace Mills, Franklin, Tenn., and one great grandchild due in November.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third St., Peru with the Rev. Francis Kilcline officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Peru. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
There will be a Masonic Service at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
