Virginia was retired as a registered nurse. She was a member of Azalea Garden Church of God and an active member of the choir. She was active in the Parish Nurse Program. She was a member of Who's Who of American Women. She followed her husband, Rev. Paul Eure, around the country until his retirement and then together they helped the minister at thier church, she being the Parish Nurse. She wrote as a hobby for church magazines, such at the Lighted Pathway and The Evangel and for the hospital magazines. She wrote about her family, her love of God, and nursing. Virginia had a wonderful sense of humor and you could always count on her for either a joke, or a riddle to make you smile. She would pray with you, sing for you and be right there when ever she was needed. She was loved by all and will be missed by her family and friends. Her marker says it all... To Know Her Was To Love Her. She was a second Mother to many of us in the family and helped raise us all. She and Paul never had children of their own, but were loved by all of us. She was so much more than a Daughter, Sister or Aunt, she was a devoted friend and caring person who would provide all she could to help a family member, friend, church member, or even a stanger. Though she is gone she will live forever in our hearts.
