McCoy Brown, 11, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cordell Brown of Livingston, and a student of Livingston Grammar School, died at his home shortly after becoming ill, Monday afternoon, July 11. Death was thought to be caused from a blood clot on the brain.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 13, 1955, at 2 p.m. at the First Assembly of God in Livingston, with the pastor Rev. Willie Malone, officiating. Burial was in the Miller Cemetary at Allons, with Speck-Hyder Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Jean and Patricia Brown; two brothers, Billy and Clois Brown, and his maternal grandmother, Mary Dishman.
