RUSTY SAMPSON


Rusty T. Sampson, 40, of Orrville, Ohio, died Saturday, Mar. 9, 2002, at Massillon Community Hospital, Ohio.


He was born in Orma, the son of Margaret Sampson-McClain of Massillon, and had resided in Massillon most of his life. He had worked at Bender's Asphalt, Canal Fulton, Ohio, and as a carpenter at 3D Construction for the past 12 years. He attended Restoration Ministries Church.


Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Sandra Salapack Sampson of Orrville; one daughter, Sadie Sampson at home; one step-daughter, Siarra Goodson at home; two sisters, Jayme Jenkins of Massillon and Jeannie Hudanic of Green, Ohio; two aunts, Jean Sampson of Massillon and Carol Varner of Oberlin, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.


Services were scheduled Wednesday at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel, 8 p.m., with Walter Bissell officiating, and Friday at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, 1 p.m. Visitation at Stump Funeral Home will be on Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Fleming Cemetery, Orma. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his daughter, Sadie Sampson, c/o any First Merit Bank (no address given).
