Funeral services for Brenda Ann Shores, 22 of 405 Blackberry Ln., who died Wednesday following injuries received in a car-train accident Aug. 28, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Silver Creek Methodist Church with the Revs. Raymond Johnson and Harold Reynolds officiating. Interment will be in East View Cemetery. Jennings funeral home directing.

The body will remain at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today. At other hours they will be at the residence of a brother, Gene Milam, Forrest Heights, Lindale. Friday the body will be taken to the church to lie in state from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour.

Pallbearers include: Herschel Shores, Larry Bowman, Harlan Worthington, Charles Shores, Grady Givens and Jimmy Shores.

Mrs. Shores was born in Floyd County Jan. 13, 1945, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Milam and had spent her entire life in Rome and Floyd County receiving her education at Midway School. She was a member of the Silver Creek Methodist Church.
