The Goshen News - 13 March 2003: Fern Schieber April 21, 1915-March 13, 2003: NAPPANEE, Ind. - Fern Schieber, 87, of 68635 C.R. 3, died today at 8:10 a.m. at Millers Merry Manor, Wakarusa. She was born April 21, 1915, to Lawrence and Nellie (Doering) Schieber, in Locke Township, Elkhart County. She was a 1933 graduate of Wakarusa High School, and attended Bible Baptist Church, Wakarusa. She was a seamstress at Boris-Smoller and also worked at Jone Furniture as a seamstress. She is survived by a brother, Dean (Laianada) Schieber, Wakarusa; and a sister-in-law, June Schieber, Wakarusa. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marie Schieber; three brothers, Walter L., Devon and Paul. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Reith-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, Wakarusa. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral Home on Saturday at 10 a.m., with the Revs. Brooks Henry and David Harper of Bible Baptist Church Wakarusa. Burial will be in Olive (West) Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Bible Baptist Church.
