Born to Rev. John Lloyd Edwards and Mahalia Edwards, she was the fourth of twelve children. The family moved to Tulsa Oklahoma before residing in Lima, Oklahoma. As a member of Mount Zion Methodist Church, Victoria was a Sunday School Teacher, loved by the children. For enjoyment, she sewed, read, cooked, and tended her flowers.
Victoria married Jessie Brothers, who preceded her. They had one daughter. She later married James Gross, who also preceded her. Victoria had two daughters, Ceola Brothers Ellis, and Eloise, who preceded her in death.
Cherishing her memory are, daughter: Ceola (John), Brother: John Lloyd of Chattanooga Tennessee, Sisters: Pearl Hill, Ruby (John) Osborn, all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In addition, she leaves Grandchildren, extended family, Marcus and Tammie Hill, and a good friend, Annie Lee Johnson.
Remembering Victoria, some will remember her little dog "Susie" that was energetic and loved to greet anyone.
