Dr. Albert Wesley Dade of Reston, VA died on June 13, 2011. He was born in Daphne, Alabama. Dr. Dade graduated from Tuskegee University as a doctor of veterinarian medicine, and he got his doctorate from Washington University at Pullman. Dr. Dade worked in the veterinary department at Michigan State University until he returned to Tuskegee as Associate Dean for the Academic Affairs at Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to retiring, he served as interim dean of the college of Veterinary Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health at Tuskegee University. He was a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Albert Dade is survived by his wife, Barbara H. Dade, and children Kenneth Dade (Shellye), Dr. Rodney Dade (Teresa), Merrell Dade, Curtiya Dade and Mandale Lee Dade and grandchildren. Graveside Service will be held at Mt. Aid Cemetery in Daphne, Alabama on Monday, June 20 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make remembrances to the School of Veterinary Medicine, Tuskegee University, Tuskegee, AL 36083.
