Eunice Virginia Holden Formyduval, 92, of Shallotte, NC died Saturday, June 18, 2011 with her loving family by her side.
Born in Brunswick County, NC on December 3, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Corbett Lloyd and Menta Register Holden. Mrs. Eunice was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Formyduval; Stepmother, Ida Mae Blanton Holden; three brothers, Alonza Richard Holden; W.C. 'Bill' Holden and Joseph Harold Holden; two sisters, Margaret H. Tripp, and Clarice H. McLean.
Surviving are her daughter, Carolyn F. "Boots" Howard of Shallotte, grandson, Erich Howard of Shallotte and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM, on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, from the graveside in the Gurganus Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM, Monday evening at Brunswick Funeral Service & Crematory.
Pallbearers will be Pat Long, Jason Holden, Barry Holden, Wayne Holden, Larry Oxendine and Fred Taylor.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons and WMU of Calvary Baptist Church, The Rev. Bill Greer, The Rev. Dan Norman and The Rev. Mark Owens.
