Sandy was born April 20, 1949 in Bemidji, Minnesota to Wesley Spragg and Dorothy (Buck) Spragg. Sandra grew up and went to school in Eveleth, Minnesota. She has been a longtime resident of Walker for the past 38 years and a member of Hope Lutheran Church.
Sandy enjoyed being outdoors and tending to her flower gardens at her Lake May home. She also enjoyed making arts and crafts for her children, grandchildren and friends. Her passion was music and poetry and opening her door to extend a helping hand to others. Above all she was a nurturing and caring mother who devoted her life to caring for her special needs son, Brian Krivich, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends.
She is survived by her children and their spouses; Mike and Lisa Krivich (Elk River), Mark and Connie Krivich (Brainerd), Brian Krivich (Walker), Lorrie (Dewitt) and Jeff Robbins (Akeley), 6 grandchildren; Kaytlin Krivich, John Krivich, Isabele Krivich, Brooke Krivich, Brody Krivich and Sophia Robbins, brothers, Wayne and Kerry Spragg, and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley Spragg and Dorothy Buck.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Hope Lutheran Church in Walker, Minnesota. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, April 21, from 6-8 PM at the Dennis Funeral Home in Walker and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Walker.
