Irene Atkinson
Mrs. Irene Atkinson passed away Friday, January 21, 1994 at a Fort Worth hospital. She was 82 years old. She was the daughter of Clarence and Carrie Stroud.
Mrs. Atkinson had been a resident of Fort Worth for five years and formerly lived in Alvarado. She was a Baptist and ejooyed painting, quilting, horseback riding, traveling and animals.
Services were held at graveside at 4 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 1994 at Bethlehem Cemetery in Whitney. Funeral arrangements were made by Laurel Land funeral Home in Fort Worth.
Mrs. Atkinson is survived by a daughter, Patsy Hollon of Houston, Denis Atkinson, M.D. of Fort Worth; ten grandchildren and six great grandhildren.
