Catherine E. Moll, 88, formerly of Montgomery, PA, passed away at 6:45 A.M. on Friday, March 1, 2002 in the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit.
Born in Williamsport, Lycoming County, PA, on Saturday, June 14, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Anna Catherine (Erb) Smith.
She was the widow of Harry W. D. Moll who preceded her in death on March 22, 1998.
Catherine was a homemaker. Earlier in life she and her husband were the proprietors of the former Watts Inn at Watsontown, PA.
She was a member of the Grace United Presbyterian Church at Montgomery, PA and enjoyed reading.
She is survived by 1 daughter and son-in-Iaw, Anna C. and David Taylor, Montgomery, PA; 1 sister, Sara Walters, Selinsgrove, PA; 2 granddaughters, Sandra Spencer; Kaydee Miller; 2 grandsons, David Taylor; Shawn Taylor. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by 1 brother, William Smith and 3 sisters, Mary Stryker, Ethel Shall and Edith Flick Lowr.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Galen R. Betzer Funeral Service, 108 North Main Street, Muncy, PA at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, March 4, 2002 with Reverend Hobart G. Campbell, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Lewisburg Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 1:00- 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
