Jimmie Lee Adams age 85, a longtime Atoka area resident, was born on August 7, 1925, to James Wesley and Cliddie Ola (Newsom) Keeler, at Clarksville, Tx. Jimmie passed away on June 16, 2011 at Atoka, Ok. She attended Forrest Hill School. Jimmie was a Cook for Ray's Dinner then the Atoka Truck Stop for 23 years. She married Hollis Adams on May 23, 1942, at Tipton, Ok. Jimmie attended the New Zion Church. She loved gardening, canning, quilting, and spending time with family. Jimmie was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Adams; parents, Cliddie Keeler and James Keeler; siblings, Myrtle Mosley, Marie Allen, Beatrice Cornwell, Nora Mosley, Flora Snead, Edward and Billie Jean Keeler; son, Jerry Adams; grandson, Gary Alexander; great granddaughter, Alecia Moody. Services Monday, June 20, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Brown's Funeral Chapel. Interment at New Zion Cemetery.
