Elizabeth, the daughter of Frank and Helen Buttolph of Yonkers, NY, was the wife of George Craig Grubb. They had three children before Craig's death in 1976 after retiring to Poultney, VT.
Elizabeth then earned Bachelor's Degrees in both Environmental Design and Fine Arts at the University of New Mexico in the 1980's. In 1987 she returned to Vermont and became an art teacher in the Walden School District.
