She was born May 12, 1908, in Baltimore, Md. and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George C. Moody. She had resided in Petersburg for the past 15 years, moving here in 1953 from Hopewell, where she had made her home since 1928.
Mrs. Wright retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Co. in 1961. She held membership in Blandford Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Leah E. Belton of Petersburg; one brother, Harry C. Moody of Petersburg; a sister, Miss Emily A. Moody of Lynchburg, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, in the chapel of the Gould Funeral Home, Petersburg. Burial will be in Appomattox Cemetery at Hopewell.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Gould Funeral Home, Petersburg.
