The daughter of Martha Ann Miller & James H. Holmes, Mary Margaret first married Robert Sims and had a son James Henry Sims, who served as Pvt. in the 60th VA Inf. C.S.A.

Her second marriage was to David Coleman Hill, with whom she had 6 sons; George W., Valentine Mason, David C. Jr., William F., John W., & Andrew Hershey HILL. 3 sons, Geo.W., David C.,Jr. & John W. Hill married 3 sisters: Emma A., Margaret N., & Lucy J. Dulin, daughters of Susan Jane Pilcher & John Thomas Dulin.

Dry Ridge cemetery is located at the intersection of Buffalo Run Road and Dry Ridge Road within an area now leased by Wesbaco paper company...on what was once part of the William O. Foutty property on Dry Ridge, Ritchie County. This property was made available by the Foutty family for the Dry Ridge School, Church and Cemetery. The church and school are gone now, but the cemetery has been maintained by the late "Bert" Foutty, with the help of the Dry Ridge Reunion.
