Sally Renee Armstrong, 31, of Paris, died Friday, August 21, 1998, at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer.

Graveside rites will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, August 23, in Long Cemetery with the Rev. Troy Ruffin officiating. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will be at 2430 E. Hickory Street in Paris prior and following the services.

Sally was born in Paris, a daughter of Douglas Lynn Kimball and Minnie Bea Ruffin.

She attended North Lamar schools and was a 1985 graduate of North Lamar High.

She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church of Powderly and worked as a wallpaper installer.

She was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Kimball; her grandparents, and a nephew.

Survivors include two daughters, Amanda Joyce Armstrong and Leslee Renee Armstrong, both of Hawkins; her step-mother, Wanda Kimball of Powderly; brother, David Michael Kimball of Atlanta; three sisters, Caron Sue Kimball Bean of Rogers, ARK, Cynthia Lea Kimball Crow of Hagansport and Patricia Lynn Kimball Schaefer of Paris; step-brother, James Craig 'Chuck' Morris of Powderly; step-sister, Kelly Yvette Morris of Roxton; and her special friend, Rebecca Bratcher of Paris.
