Charlotte shares a COMPANION STONE with her FIRST HUSBAND - Engraved "GREY"

She was the first daughter and second child of Harriet Rosetta "Hattie" Pettingill and Amos George Cole.

She was four times a widow and is listed on the Utah Death Record with the legal surname of YOUNG.

Lottie married (1) Thomas Cleveland Grey on 6 October 1909 at Ogden, Weber, UT. They had one son, Elmer, in 1910, who died at four days old.
Their daughters were:
Montrue Bess, 1914-2007, md. Herman James Larkin.
Elaine, 1916-1993, md. Richard Money Hales & Don Carrol Horn.
Inez, 1919-1992, md. Percy Edward Petersen.

Lottie's first husband died when their daughter, Inez, was about one year old.

Lottie married (2) widower, William Daniel Allred on 23 December 1920 at Logan, Cache County, Utah. They had one daughter in 1921, Ella Uarda, (who was raised as Uarda Grey). They later divorced and he also remarried. William died in 1961 and was buried at Roy, Weber County, Utah.

She married (3) widower, Estress Manley Sackett on 3 October 1961 at Logan, Cache County Utah. He died in 1968 and is buried at Brigham City, Box Elder County, Utah.

She married (4) widower, Jasper Nebeker Nicholas 11 September 1969 in Salt Lake County, Utah. He died in 1975 and is buried at Brigham City, Box Elder, Utah.

Lottie married (5) divorcee, Ernest Leslie Young on 14 October 1978 at St. George, Washington County, Utah. He died 1980 and is buried at Joseph, Sevier County, Utah.

Lottie was a beloved citizen of Willard in Box Elder County, and had many lifelong friends who enjoyed attending her 90th birthday party, hosted by her daughter, Montrue, at St. George. She remained well until the following year, passing on at her daughter's home.
