Louisa Corsino Ponti Bilbao, beautiful daughter of Dominick Corsino, was born 28 Jan 1883 at Cocconato, Italy. The name "Ponti" is from her marriage to Severino Ponti. Widowed, she married Frank "Bilbao."

On Christmas 1902, Louisa Corsino left Italy and sailed for America, settling first at Ashland, Wisconsin and then at San Pedro, California in 1905. On 24 Feb 1914, she became a naturalized citizen of the United States. She had at least 2 children, Elba K Ponti and Adelena Domenica Ponti. By the Jan. 1920 census, Louisa's Italian husband Severino Ponti had died; by Nov 1923, she had married Francico Bilbao of Spain, who had legally changed his name to Frank.
