PITTSFIELD--Mrs. Dorothy (Van Ormand) Eddy, 41, of 131 Cloverdale Street died Friday night in her home as result of a heart attack. A native of Tyringham, she was graduated from Lee High School and had lived in Pittsfield 12 years. She was a member of Emanuel Community Church. She leaves her husband, Douglas Eddy; two sons, Lynn and Neil, and a daughter, Janet, all at home; also three brothers, Gordon Van Ormand of Tyringham, and Sidney and Dudley, both in the Air Force. The funeral will be Monday at 2 in Union Church, Tyringham. Burial will be in Tyringham Cemetery. Visiting hours at Kelly funeral home, Lee, are today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
