PEORIA—Ronald E. Alford, 49, of 5102 N. Graceland Drive died at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, 1995, at his residence. Born May 26, 1946, in Peoria to Eugene R. and Muriel S. Simms Alford, he married Linda J. Gares on May 16, 1970, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are his parents of Peoria; one son, Randy E., and one daughter, Debbie Marlatt, both of Peoria; one grandchild; and one brother, Richard R. of Peoria.
A Caterpillar Inc. employee for 25 years, he last worked in Morton.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Wilton Mortuary.... Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Peoria. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
