Claxton - Julia A. Levant, 76, died Monday at home. She was born and educated in Liberty County and was a homemaker. She was a member and a usher of United House of Prayer in Claxton.

Survivors: four daughters, Mary Levant of Union, N.J., Marcell Jones of Jackson, Miss., Juanita Scott of Maywood, Ill., and June Levant of Newark, N.J.; a sister, Olivia West of Palatka, Fla.; three brothers, Roland and Elroe Boggs, both of Cleveland, Ohio, and Purle Boggs of Miami; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at United House of Prayer, burial in Jerusalem Cemetery, Groveland.
