THOMASVILLE--Mrs. Juliia Myrtle Black Black, 98, of Wesleyan Arms Nursing Center in High Point died Friday afternoon. She was born in Davidson County, August 7, 1886, a daughter of James W. and Mary E. Conrad Black. She was the oldest member of Heidelberg United Church of Christ and was a member of the Golden Age Club. She married Harrison E. Black, who died August 24, 1967.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. J. Wilson (Ruth) Hunt of Valley Road; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Petree of Davidson Nursing Center; one brother, J. Carl Black of Rt.1; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 2 pm Sunday at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery by Rev. James Peeler.
