Son of Thomas J. (ca1815-ca.1854) & (3rd wife) Mahala Cunningham DARE (1816-1876), Thomas, Jr. married four times.

We know of 13 children.His first 2 wives and 4 infant children from those marriages died before he married Josie Dare. Those wives & children are buried in Pope Co., Arkansas. He and Josie had 8 children. After she died, he married a final time and had a son, William Sunday Dare born July 12, 1916 in Stephen's County, Oklahoma.

He moved to Oklahoma abt 1905 from Pope County, Arkansas.
