Willard Belonger, 63, of 1222 Clara Ave., Sheboygan, an employe of Plant No. 1 of Mirro Aluminum Co., Two Rivers, for 37 years, died unexpectedly in his sleep in his room at Waverly Hotel, Two Rivers, sometime Tuesday night.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, Sheboygan. Burial will be in a Sheboygan Cemetery.
Mr. Belonger was born June 16, 1898, at Coleman, WI, son of the late Peter and Delia Dupuis Belonger. When he was 17 the family moved to Two Rivers. He was employed as a lineman by Two Rivers Telephone Co. until January of 1924 when he entered the employ of the Mirro company. He had been a hand polisher in the plant's percolator department. He was a member of the firm's 25 Year Club.
He married the former Caroline Polzar at Two Rivers April 28, 1925. She died April 16, 1932. He married the former Luella Hayward Fritz at Sheboygan Feb. 15, 1952.
Besides his wife he leaves two step-daughters. Miss Delores Fritz at home and Mrs. Donald Gessler of Sheboygan; seven sisters, Mrs. John Hurley of Two Rivers, Sister M. Cyprian of St. John, WI, Sister M. Frances Therese of St. Cloud, WI, Mrs. Edwin Niespodziany of Manitowoc, Mrs. Vladimir Kunz of Francis Creek, Mrs. Francis Schaden of Two Rivers and Mrs. George Hostettler of Stockbridge; and four brothers, Robert, Isadore, Clarence and Harry of Two Rivers.
Friends may call at Ramm Funeral Home, Sheboygan, after 2 p.m. Friday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. after being removed from Klein Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers.
