Services for Clara Elizabeth James Cameron of McCall Creek are 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 28, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with burial in St. Luke Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m., and 7-8 p.m., at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Bude, and Saturday from noon until 2 p.m., at the church.
Mrs. Cameron, 96, died Feb. 22, 2004, at her residence. She was born in McCall Creek on Feb. 7, 1908, to Harrison James and Minnie Byrd Nelson.
She was a homemaker, and a member of Christian Spring Missionary Baptist Church and Herion of Jerico.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, O.C. Cameron; her stepson, Joe Byrd; six sisters; four brothers; and a grandson, Timmie Sanders.
Survivors are her daughters, Minnie Sanders, Gladys Williams and Pearle Cameron; her sons, Louis Cameron, David Cameron, Jack Cameron, Joe Cameron, Johnnie Cameron, James Earl Cameron and George "G.C." Cameron; her brothers, Charlie Nelson, Andrew Nelson Jr., Richard Nelson, Warren Nelson and Jessie Nelson; 49 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
