She lived in Norfolk 69 years before coming to live with her son in Frisco. She was the daughter of Joshua D. Austin and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Willis.
She was a homemaker, care giver and enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She loved the Lord with all her heart and shared him with everyone who would listen. She was a great prayer warrior and gave from her heart. She loved painting pictures of the island, singing and playing her harmonica with her son while we all sang along. One thing she truly gave her family was her love of Hatteras and we will keep her spirit alive in our hearts.
