Coral Nadine Trout was born November 11, 1918 in Neosho Falls, Kansas; the daughter of John James and Bessie Lucinda (Stephens) Trout. She was reared and educated in Neosho Falls, graduating from Neosho Falls High School. She attended college in Pittsburg, Kansas and earned her teaching degree. She taught school in Moran, Kansas.

On January 6, 1940 she married Harold Martin Anderson in East Coffeyville, Oklahoma. They farmed in Moran and moved to Douglas, Wyoming in December 1948. Mrs. Anderson taught rural school at Moss Agate and White schools from 1955-1957 and fourth and fifth grades in Douglas from 1958-1984.

She and her husband owned and operated Pheasant Run Nursery in Douglas from 1979-86. They retired and moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1987 and moved back to Glenrock, Wyoming in 1989.

Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, National Education Association and Douglas Education Association; and was a past president of the Wyoming Education Association.

She was survived by her husband, Harold of Glenrock; sons Steve Anderson of Broomfield, Colorado; and Rocky Anderson of Casper, Wyoming; daughters Sharon Hamilton of Clobe, Arizona; Jan Rupe of Chandler, Arizona and Chris Vollman of Douglas, 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; brothers Richard Trout of Casper and Johnie Trout of Meriden, Kansas; and sisters Velma Compton of Casper and Jolene Evans and Twila Gober of Olney, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister, Carol Maxine; and daughter Pamela Rae.
