FRIDAY, JUNE 17, 1892
Dr. W. M. Blain, formerly of Lincoln, and Mrs. E. J. Freeman went to Jellico last Wednesday evening and were quietly married by Squire Early. They were accompanied on the trip by Dr. J. D. Atkins and Mrs. J. Marion Sullivan. They returned the same night and spent most of Thursday receiving the congratulations of their many friends. May they live long and happily and enjoy all the blessings, big and little, that come to the married estate. - Williamsburg Times

DEATH'S DOINGS
Dr. W. M. Blain, the well known and popular physician, of Williamsburg, died Friday at that place and his remains were brought here and placed beside those of his father, Senator Robert Blain, in Buffalo Cemetery on the following day. Dr. Blain was a kind-hearted, good man and was greatly beloved by the good people of Whitley county. He was born near Hustonville in 1850, but moved to Williamsburg a number of years ago, where he has since lived and where he enjoyed a large practice. He married 18 months ago and his wife alone survives him. A large crowd of relatives and friends met his remains and followed them to their last resting place.
