Louise M. Bunting, age 71 of Danbury, passed away on June 4, 2011 at Danbury Hospital after a long illness. She was born on July 31, 1939 in Danbury, daughter of the late John and Myrtle Kovacs. She attended Danbury schools and worked for a number of years at Eagle Pencil Corporation in Danbury, becoming ill in her mid 30's. She fought a courageous battle and recovered to raise her family. She had a love for country music which could always be heard in the family home. She enjoyed visiting many county fairs and shopping with her husband, family and friends. She was predeceased by her sisters Betty Elliott and Virginia Schrack. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years William Bunting Sr. of Danbury, her three sons William Jr. and Lisa Bunting of Naugatuck, Timothy and Amanda Bunting and grandson Thomas Bunting of Thomaston, David and Lauren Bunting of Danbury, a brother John and Joyce Kovacs of Florida, a brother Joseph and Joreen Kovacs of South Carolina, a sister Frances Rotunda of Danbury, as well as several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church Danbury on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Green Funeral Home 57 Main St., Danbury on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Louise's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th Fl., New York, NY 10001 or at www.alzfdn.org.
