Allison Hardy Skinner, Sr., 71, of Conway went home to the Lord on Monday, June 6, 2011. He was born on Friday, September 1, 1939 in Enders, Arkansas to the late James and Myrtle (Hardy) Skinner.

Mr. Skinner was a loving father and grandfather. He worked at UCA (when it was called SCA). He worked for Winkler County in Texas. He was a security guard for GuardsMark at Kimberly Clark and Nucor. He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Al Skinner, Jr. and Bruce Skinner and his wife Betty of Conway; daughter, Christie DeWitt of Conway; five grandchildren, Daphne Skinner, Ziah Skinner, Daniel DeWitt and wife Amanda, and Daria Skinner of Conway, and Michael Skinner of Fort Smith; sister, Fern Norred of Tampa, Florida; two brothers, Bernard Skinner and wife Vauda Lee of Fitzgerald, Georgia, and Delbert Skinner of Quitman; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy (Mason) Skinner; and two brothers, Donald Skinner and Burford Skinner.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, June 10, 2011 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway with Brother Tim Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park with Daniel DeWitt, Michael Skinner, Ziah Skinner, James McKnight, Jim Alexander, and Justin Milligan, serving as pallbearers. Vistiation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, June 9, 2011.
