Ms. Janet Ann Boring Bandy, 53, of Dalton, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011 at her residence.
She was a graduate of Dalton High School and attended Georgia Southern University and Dalton State College. She was on the Dalton Cotillion Board where she was a past chairman. She was also on the Jonas Foundation Board; Cheerhaven Board and Friendship House Board. She was a member of the Dalton First United Methodist Church and had a lifetime love of horses.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jane Smith Boring; maternal grandparents, Ernest and Gladis Booth Smith; paternal grandparents, James Marcus Boring and Annis Lambert Boring; aunt, Joanne Boring Boyd and uncle, James Marcus Boring, Jr.
Janet is survived by her daughter, and Blaie’s father; brother and sister-in-law; and extended family.
Memorial services will be Thursday at 4 P.M. from the Dalton First United Methodist Church.
