Marley Rites Set Thursday

Josephine E. Marley, 83, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2001 at her home in Holly Creek. She was born Sept 15, 1917 in Arkansas to Lora and Mamie Ray.

Josephine Marley had made her home in Holly Creek for the past four years, coming from Ft. Wayne, Ind. She was retired from the banking business, and attended Freewill Baptist Church, Holy Creek.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lora and Mamie Ray; her husband, John Marley; her daughter, Myrna Bumgardner; and her special friend, Dick Milligan.

Survivors include her cousins, Jerry and Patsy Baker, Holly Creek, Ona Nix, Oma Vaughn, Bonnie Justice and Chester Tucker; and a niece, Helen.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday. July 19, at Fort Wayne, Ind. A local memorial service will be scheduled at a later time.
